3 MW HPC subsea data center in Port of Hanstholm

image.png

The Port of Hanstholm is strategically located in the North West of Jutland, directly facing the North Sea.

Subsea Cloud Partners will deploy two immersive cooled pods into the harbour basin, directly connected to the wind power produced by the 3 turbines on the harbour (3 X 3.45 MW).

This region serves as a hub for research and development as well as the demonstration of cutting-edge energy systems. Widely recognized for its role in Østerild as a testing ground for both onshore and offshore wind turbines, it consistently drives innovation and technological advancement.

In a collaborative effort, the local authorities and the Port of Hanstholm are working together to progress further by constructing new facilities dedicated to emerging energy technologies, including the establishment of the largest test and demonstration site for wave energy.
